The City of Green Bay is using $253,000 in CARES Act funding to offer free high-speed internet access in public parks located in low-income neighborhoods. The city is partnering with Nsight Telservices to reduce costs and maximize the number of locations reached. The high-speed internet access would benefit kids who use the parks in the summer, individuals seeking employment without regular access to an internet connection, and security camera systems installed for public safety purposes.
