Cassius was introduced in 2021 as a customized technology suite for senior residents. Social care staffers provide feedback so that selected technologies best serve patient needs. Initial participants in the service received sensor mats, wearables, and tablets. County officials are working with Alcove, Provide CIC, and Rethink Partners on a three-year rollout of additional technologies. The project's goals include reduced falls, hospital admissions, and ambulance calls.

Suffolk County Council reported that 1,600 residents received service through Cassius in its first year.
