Full-time employees and City Council aides qualify for a $50 monthly contribution toward student loans in active repayment. Eligible participants register for Tuition.io accounts and provide information on their loan providers for direct payments. San Antonio offers this benefit from each employee's first day of work with the first payment made in the following month. The Student Loan Payment Program does not set a maximum number of contributions per approved employee.
