The City of Milton conducted a publicity stunt on social media to address concerns over potential contamination from a new wastewater treatment plant. Milton's City Manager drank an entire glass of treated effluent collected directly from the wastewater treatment plant to showcase that it is "clean enough to drink" and alleviate concerns. The video has been viewed nearly 8,000 times on the city's Facebook page.
