Nonprofits and community groups in Whitehorse can reserve five Activation Pods at three shopping centers. Each Pod can be reserved for up to four consecutive days for speakers, classes, and workshops. Whitehorse offers up to $1,000 AUD per group from its Booster Fund to cover event costs. Council leaders introduced Activate Whitehorse to break down barriers between local businesses, nonprofits, and residents upon reopening from COVID-19.
