Far North District Council has completely digitized the process for accessing Land Information Memorandum (LIM) reports. Applicants can review LIM reports online in order to access information for their property including building consents, land hazards, rating valuations, heritage, etc. By replacing the previous paper-based system the Council will save over $10,000 each year in printing, postage, and transport costs.

Far North District Council is partnering with Northland Regional Council, Kaipara District Council, and Whangarei District Council to develop the Te Tai Tokerau Regional Accessibility Strategy. The Council created an online survey asking residents to help identify key accessibility issues related to transportation, public spaces, information services, and community consultations. The goal of this strategy is to create a community where everyone can access all places, activities, and services.

The new user-friendly website completely transformed how residents request, receive, and pay for Council services. The suite of online transactions allow users to make property file requests, submit dog registrations, review pay rates, track maintenance requests, etc.
