Harris County opened its first all-inclusive greenspace and playground that accommodates children and adults with disabilities. The county spent a year and $7.6 million building the 29-acre playground which levels the playing field for anyone with visual impairments or mobility issues. The park also includes a sensory garden with an extra-wide ramp for wheelchairs and a serpentine path designed for older adults or anyone in physical rehabilitation.
