City officials worked with Meshed to install the IoT networks in Morwell and Traralgon. Both networks added nCounter sensors to recreational facilities, shopping areas, and the Latrobe Art Gallery. These devices track traffic by capturing open Wi-Fi signals from nearby pedestrians and motorists. Latrobe plans additional sensors in the IoT networks to track air quality, water levels, and vehicle traffic.
