Shire leaders facilitated the development of a multi-fuel boiler with Beaufort and Skipton Health Services. The system's Skipton facility currently uses pellets to power the boiler with potential expansion into new energy sources like plant husks and shells. Pyrenees also worked with project partners to develop a mobile pellet producer that cuts production costs.
