Sandoval County, NM improves emergency response time with local partnership
Sandoval County and the Town of Bernalillo now allocate emergency personnel based on call location and traffic flow rather than jurisdiction. An emergency vehicle is decaled to reflect the partnership though all first-response vehicles are available to cross boundaries. This partnership emerged due to traffic disruptions caused by a two-year construction project on US 550.
