These sensors measured nitrogen dioxide and particulate levels throughout extensive road upgrades. Newham completed new bike lanes, extended sidewalks, and eco-friendly drainage in the pilot area. Borough officials concluded the study on National Clean Air Day 2021 with a call for residents to swap their cars for low-emission alternatives.
