The collaboration tests Spoke's VRU2X technology within the context of the city's Curiosity Lab infrastructure. VRU2X uses three components - C-V2X, 5G connectivity, and camera footage - for real-time communications between non-motorists and motorists. Ten updates per second to user displays ensure awareness of potential road safety issues by drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists. This pilot includes a partnership between Audi and Spoke on bike-to-vehicle safety solutions.
