City officials collaborated with fellow members of the Surrey Intercultural Senior Social Inclusion Partnership Network during the website's development. WALKit Web Map shows all of the paved and natural pedestrian spaces in Surrey. Walkers plan trips that intersect with bus stops, restrooms, and shelters in the tool. Map layers display age-friendly routes and places of interest. The website asks seniors to complete quick surveys of their experiences on paths and sidewalks.
