City officials and nonprofit Brilliant Brighton are recruiting short-term tenants for vacant downtown storefronts. Pop-up restaurants, clothing stores, and other shops highlight long-term leasing opportunities for business owners. This initiative also issues £500 commissions to artists and designers for creative window displays in empty shops. Brighton & Hove and Brilliant Brighton aim to reduce vandalism, generate foot traffic, and encourage new ventures.
