Windsor, ON testing wastewater for COVID-19

The City of Windsor partnered with Pollution Control and the Great Lakes Institute for Environmental Research to test local wastewater for the COVID-19 virus. According to their research, the genetic signal for COVID-19 can be detected in untreated wastewater which could provide an early indicator if cases are increasing in the community.
