Los Angeles, CA universal basic mobility pilot
The Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) is launching a comprehensive $17.8 million universal basic mobility pilot which includes electric vehicle sharing, an e-bike library, an on-demand shuttle, and an electric vehicle workforce training program. The LADOT is also planning to distribute mobility wallets for 2,000 residents that will provide $150 monthly payments in the form of prepaid debit cards that can be spent on a variety of transportation options.
