Sacramento City Council approved plans to transform a historic train station into a sustainable mobility hub. The Sacramento Valley Station Area plan was granted the Living Community Challenge Vision Plan certificate for environmental innovation. The plan is designed to connect pedestrians and transit passengers with development areas where buildings will run on 100% renewable energy. The plan is led by the city in partnership with Perkins&Will, Arup, Grimshaw Architects, EPS and Aim Consulting.
