The Cincinnati Police Department has partnered with a mobile crisis team from UC Health to launch Ohio's first telehealth mobile crisis response program. The program will allow officers handling a mental health call to connect with social workers via telehealth. Police officers will be equipped with tablets they can use to contact the crisis team for support via video and social workers may be dispatched when necessary.
