Google provided the borough with 500 free licenses for the company's Career Certificates initiative. The program teaches lessons in user experience, project management, and data analysis for learners without prior experience. Council leaders are working with local schools to identify participants aged 16 to 18 in addition to career-changing professionals. Certificate holders are directed toward apprenticeships and job placement programs vetted by the council.
