Kelowna, BC Model City Visualization Tool

The city's planning and GIS teams created the 3D tool prior to development of a new 20-year plan. During council meetings, Model City maps display growth capacity and redevelopment options for current properties. The visualizations allow viewers to compare how Kelowna would look under different scenarios like rapid growth and urban sprawl. A publicly available Growth Evaluation Dashboard houses the underlying data for Model City.
