The Cobb County Sheriff's Office is creating a "compliance" area within the county jail where low-risk inmates, who have been incarcerated for 30 days without incident, can be transferred. The inmates will be rewarded for their good behavior with increased access to educational materials and a messaging system to communicate with their families at a reduced cost. The educational materials can also be used to satisfy court-imposed class requirements such as anger management.
