The city of Niagara Falls spent over $750,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funding to supply the Niagara Falls Police Department (NFPD) with body cameras and related operating software. The NFPD purchased 90 new state-of-the-art Axon Body 3 body-worn cameras, allowing every officer to have their own dedicated camera. The new cameras capture clear images in order to increase transparency and accountability for officers.
