St Paul, MN Mississippi River Plastic Pollution Initiative

En cours

St. Paul, St. Louis, and Baton Rouge are piloting a pollution tracking app called Marine Debris Tracker. Volunteers and local organizations research areas from each city's sampling map during the one-month pilot. The app maps precise locations of litter based on user inputs and phone locations. Marine Debris Tracker was developed by the National Geographic Society and the University of Georgia to crowdsource data on the extent of waterway pollution.
