The city of Suffolk's Department of Public Works is partnering with smart mobility infrastructure specialist Iteris to improve road safety through traffic signal optimization. According to the city's open-ended annual service on-call contract: Iteris will produce signal timing plans for key intersections, vehicle turn movement counts, before-and-after corridor analysis, hurricane evacuation timing plans, interstate diversion timing plans, and intelligent transportation system equipment plans.
