Blaby District Council, GB Lightbulb Programme support
Blaby District Council partnered with Leicestershire County Council and local organisations to develop the Lightbulb Programme an integrated housing support service. The programme was designed to reduce hospital admissions for vulnerable residents and allow them to live safely in their homes for as long as possible by proactively assessing and resolving housing issues. The housing interventions include setting up utilities, minor repairs, installing ramps, negotiating with landlords, etc.
