Pima County, AZ is using remote inspections to save time and money
Pima County has a remote inspection program as an alternative to on-site inspections for residents that require prompt service or cannot make it to their inspection time. The client uses Skype to call the inspector and sends them video messages to be inspected and saved.

Pima County has been able to save countless dollars and time from the remote inspection program. Clients can schedule a remote inspection and have the inspection completed within a few minutes of scheduling their appointment. Remote inspections account for 13% of total inspections. There has been a 26% reduction in miles driven and a 18% reduction in drive time and workload variation among inspectors.
