A package of four connectivity trials allows the council and its partners to evaluate connectivity options in outlying areas. Dorset Council and Wessex Internet are using current fiber networks to help local farms with cattle monitoring and smart building controls. The initiative also increases mobile access along the coast for emergency personnel and enhanced Vodafone coverage at Lulworth Castle.
