The city worked with Bigbelly on converting sensors in its 350 smart bins to track daily usage. Dublin also installed radar sensors in 20 bins to track nearby movement. The data produce accurate looks at pedestrian concentrations that inform public health and traffic management efforts. Dublin's participation in the Connected City Infrastructure initiative could connect Bigbelly bins to smart assets and enhance high-speed connectivity.
