Inner West, NSW introduces a parking pilot to connect car sharing with light rail stops

Inner West, NSW Car Sharing Light Rail Parking

The council surveyed local residents and businesses to evaluate the best locations for 20 car-sharing spots. Inner West identified 10 light rail stations in the area that allow commuters to easily move between trains and shared cars. Council officials designated the spaces for general use by operators, opening the possibility for multiple companies to provide services. This project is part of Inner West's effort to cut carbon emissions and reduce traffic congestion.
