Regina, SK replaced speed bumps with Traffic Calming curbs

The City of Regina replaced existing traditional speed bumps with premanufactured concrete slabs called Traffic Calming (TC) curbs at two local crosswalks. TC curbs improve neighbourhood safety by reducing vehicle speeds, improving yielding behaviours at intersections, and shortening the crossing distance for pedestrians. The city will review potential locations for installing more TC curbs in the future.
