Completo

Whanganui District Council partnered with the Rural Community Board to conduct a survey of rural landowners. The survey was designed to address issues with rural internet connectivity and its impact on the agriculture sector. Respondents indicated that the majority of rural landowners have internet access but their internet speed is too low and unreliable. The survey confirmed that the lack of reliable connectivity is a distinct disadvantage for the agriculture sector.
