Kamloops, BC CSO Outreach and Response Homeless Support
CSO Outreach and Response teams consist of a community service officer and an outreach worker. Each plainclothes pair interacts with homeless residents during foot and bike routes in public places. Residents are referred to community shelters for their immediate needs and partner agencies for long-term support. Kamloops anticipates up to 16 hours of team coverage each week with a focus on evening and weekend hours.
