The Kingston Council launched a new employment programme to support residents who lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Job Entry Targeted Support (JETS) programme provided support designed to help participants quickly get back into employment. The training focused on key employment skills such as CV writing, interview skills, job searching, etc. Participants who were unemployed for at least 13 weeks were paired with a specialist Employment Adviser to develop a personal action plan.
