Wandsworth Borough Council, GB Career Transition Programme

The borough and South Thames College developed the initiative in response to the pandemic-related economic downturn. Local workers facing redundancies are provided free career coaching over a five-week track. Job coaches walk participants through resume development, job-specific career development, and social media best practices. Small businesses are coached on how to best handle redundancies and list vacancies for free on the Wandsworth Work Match website.
