Council leaders worked with Invest in Angus to develop the Angus Job Search portal. Angus invites businesses to post their jobs during the 18-month pilot. Local residents create profiles, develop online resumes, and add filters to find their preferred opportunities. The Live Vacancies section lists current openings sortable by date, location, and salary. Angus Job Search also connects users to local volunteer opportunities and National Health Service jobs.

Online jobs portal Angus Jobs Search launches | Angus Council

A new online jobs portal – Angus Job Search – has been launched by Angus Council, to link people who are unemployed or under threat of redundancy as a result of the outbreak of COVID-19, to job opportunities. It can also be used to match people to volunteering opportunities and placement. The portal is free of charge for both employers and clients and will remain in place whilst employment support is being provided to people impacted by the current situation. This is estimated to be between 12 – 18 months or longer.
