Brighton & Hove City Council, GB 24-Hour Parking Service

The council approved around-the-clock services at four city-owned parking structures. Drivers parked in the structures use intercoms to request assistance from the Traffic Control Centre. Dispatchers determine the appropriate response for each situation including police, local security, or a driver's personal contact. The 24-hour emergency service evaluates CCTV video to determine if structure shutdowns are necessary.
