The City of Copenhagen partnered with Microsoft to help unemployed academics acquire new digital skills. The collaboration involved offering unemployed academics an intensive digital course in Microsoft Azure and an opportunity to get an internship with one of Microsoft's partner companies. The four-week course consisted of e-learning modules on cloud consulting, project management, etc. The internships involved training in artificial intelligence, data science or IT administration.
