Corpus Christi, TX short-term rental property annual permits

In Progress

The Corpus Christi City Council passed an ordinance requiring short-term rental property owners to register for an annual permit and pay a $50 fee per year. The city officially defines a short term rental as a residential dwelling that rents out fewer than 30 days and not less than 12 hours. The new requirement was designed to help the city enforce safety/health regulations while also preventing single-family homes from being used as short-term rental properties.
