The three-month Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) pilot allowed town residents to leave electronics and electrical accessories for weekly pickup. Small electronics like mobile phones, remote controls, and chargers were placed alongside standard recycling bins. Collected equipment was taken to a processing facility to be stripped down to metal and plastic parts for recycling.
