Fairfield County upgraded their voting machines after Ohio State approved the purchase. The voting experience will be largely unchanged for county residents, but the technology will be vastly improved. The 630 voting machines are expected to last at least 20 years.
As part of its effort to get more people to vote by mail, the Contra Costa County Elections Office will now allow residents to sign up for ballots by simply texting the elections office.
The Martin County Elections Office released a series of videos that instructed voters with special needs how to register and how to vote in the county. The videos appeared on local television and are posted on the county's election website.
