Kent County Council, GB Specialized Bereavement Assistance
Council officials created a partnership with CHUMS to counsel bereaved residents from preschool to 25 years old. This service includes one-on-one and group sessions along with telephone appointments arranged through referrals. Kent County Council also added the Amparo initiative from Listening Ear for residents impacted by suicides. Amparo assists eligible residents as they manage mental health challenges, media inquiries, and legal proceedings.
