Logan, QLD Trainee Apprentice Council Recruitment Pilot

The council currently hires apprentices and trainees from an outside employment organization. This pilot will directly hire three apprentices in plumbing and mechanical work for four-year certification periods. Logan also plans to hire business and library trainees for 18-month periods. City officials plan to compare the existing and pilot approaches over a six-month timeframe. This comparison may result in the adoption of direct-hire or hybrid models based on costs and benefits.
