London Borough of Ealing, GB trials trio of energy-efficient heating technologies in council homes
London Borough of Ealing, GB Energy-Efficient Heating Homes
Ealing began with a trial of NexGen Heating infrared ceiling panels in 25 council homes. Individual room control over panels reduces energy waste compared to whole-home heating. A pilot with Energiesprong adds external insulation, rooftop solar panels, and air-source heat pumps for consistent climate control in 68 homes. The most recent pilot involves the installation of AirEx sub-floor air bricks for smart ventilation management in 50 homes.
