The City of Mascouche launched an incentives program for sustainable construction and renovation. The program rewards citizens with property tax credits for reducing their ecological footprint with eco-gesture renovations such as solar panels, low-flow toilets, rain gardens, permeable parking lots, etc. Participating citizens receive up to $200 in property tax credits for each qualifying eco-gesture.
