Mornington Peninsula, VIC Local Economy Booster Program

The Local Economy Booster Program generates spending by locals on tourism businesses hit hard by COVID-19 lockdowns. Households applied for up to $100 AUD in reimbursement for qualifying purchases of $150 AUD or more. Eligible spending for the program includes fishing charters, local accommodations, museum passes, and food and wine tours. Mornington Peninsula completed the program's first round in autumn 2021 and opened a second round in April 2022.
