Rio Rancho, NM Home Repair Pilot Program Low-Income House

Households earning up to 80% of area median income qualify for the program. Project partner Homewise provides up to $25,000 in repairs and upgrades for each eligible household. The pilot completes long-needed work on HVAC, roofing, plumbing, and electrical systems. Rio Rancho officials approved a $300,000 fund for deferred loans to eligible residents. These loans are fully forgiven if homeowners remain in place for five years.
