Roermond, LI Zero-Step Home Commercial Conversion Pilot

Municipal officials approved a subsidy program in response to local demand for centrally located homes. Eligible participants are commercial property owners who want to convert lots near the city center into homes. Roermond will issue up to €10,000 per approved project with €30,000 allocated for the pilot. Each subsidy covers the conversion of storefronts and interior spaces into single-story homes with easily accessible amenities.
