Upper Arlington, OH Curbside Food Waste Collection Pilot

Upper Arlington first partnered GoZERO Services on a food waste drop-off program in 2019. The program's success led to a curbside collection pilot funded through September 2023. Upper Arlington plans a gradual rollout of the free service to 700 homes with pilot zones based on sign-up hotspots. Food waste collected from homes and pick-up locations is turned into compost by GoZERO. The pilot gathers data on per-household waste useful for future waste diversion efforts.
