This one-year program delivered by Better Homes Yorkshire uses targeted interventions for emission reductions. The Big Green Heating Scheme supplies 75 low-income families with air-source heat pumps. Wakefield also offers rooftop solar panels and cavity wall insulation to limited numbers of participants. Eligibility requirements include household incomes of £30,000 or less and Energy Performance Certificate ratings in the lowest three bands.
