Court Broadens Virtual Services for Domestic Violence Survivors

The municipal court in Chandler, Ariz., is expanding its virtual service to better protect survivors of domestic violence through the justice system. The court has teamed up with a local shelter on the project.

A new partnership has been struck with the Chandler Municipal Court and domestic violence shelter My Sisters’ Place to enable victims in the shelter to file protective orders and be seen by a judge without appearing in court in person.
